Novartis Oncology is conducting the clinical research study called SIG-NET SOM230 InvestiGated in NeuroEndocrine Tumor) to determine if the investigational drug CSOM230 is an effective and safe treatment in people who have carcinoid tumors.

If you are an adult, 18 years of age or older with confirmed carcinoid tumors of the digestive tract, whose disease-related symptoms are poorly controlled by somatostatin analogues, you may be eligible to participate in this study.
